About Fatty Liver Fighter

The Doctor Said “Lose Weight.”

I Had a BMI of 23.

If you are reading this, you probably had the same confusing experience I did.

You went to the doctor. You got the bloodwork. You saw the elevated enzymes (ALT/AST). Then, you got the standard lecture: “You have fatty liver. You need to lose weight, eat better, and exercise more.”

But what if you aren’t overweight?

What if you are already “eating healthy”?
What if you already look fine in the mirror, but your bloodwork says your liver is in trouble?

I created FattyLiverFighter.com because I couldn’t find a website that spoke to me.

Everywhere I looked, the advice was for obesity-related fatty liver. The solution was always “Caloric Deficit.” But when I looked at the data, I realized that generic weight loss advice wasn’t just unhelpful for my body type.

I didn’t need to starve myself. I needed to fix my metabolism.

The “Lean Liver” Reality

My diagnosis was Lean MASLD (Metabolic Dysfunction-Associated Steatotic Liver Disease).

I was what researchers call a TOFIThin Outside, Fat Inside.

While I looked normal on the outside, my liver was swollen to 18cm (hepatomegaly) and infiltrated with visceral fat. My “bathtub” had overflowed, not because I was obese, but because my personal fat threshold was low, and my diet—hidden sugars and “healthy” fructose—was flooding the system.

My Philosophy: Metrics, Muscle, & Metabolism

I am not a doctor. I am a specialized researcher and a guy who is obsessed with data.

I approach my liver health the same way I approach a complex project: Track the variables, test the inputs, and measure the results.

Here is what you can expect from this site:

  1. No “Generic” Advice: We don’t do “eat less, move more.” We talk about specific metabolic levers like Fructose elimination, ApoB, and Insulin Resistance.

  2. Muscle is Medicine: For lean people, the liver is often fatty because the muscles are too weak to soak up glucose. We focus on hypertrophy and protein, not just cardio.

  3. Data Over Hype: I share my actual lab results—the good, the bad, and the ugly. If a supplement works, I’ll show you the numbers. If it doesn’t, I’ll tell you to save your money.

Join the Fight

This site documents my journey from diagnosis to reversal. It is an experiment of one, but the principles apply to many.

If you are tired of being told you look “fine” when you know you aren’t healthy, you are in the right place.

Let’s look at the data.
